At the end of this 2 exciting days I was able to shoot Robert Stolz´s praline purStolz.
Yesterday, after shooting Emanuel Reiters promoshoot for his new album, we added his girl Daniela to the shoot, to continue and end the day with a gorgeous coupleshoot….
Wow, it feels like ages, the last time I blogged… but therefore this blogpost is huge, not in words and pictures, but in information. I`m packing my bags right now
for the next 5 weeks,
3 different suitcases…
3 different countries…
Suitcase 1:
The first trip´s not gonna be that far away, I´m heading into the alps, to be precise into the swiss alps, where I´ll first be shooting Emanuel Reiter an amazing acoustic artist. After that I´m gonna meet up with my swiss-september-bridal-couple to capture their love for their invitations.
Suitcase 2:
8-9 months ago I got a nice phone call from a colleague, Johannes Fenn, who has won several ISPWP-awards. He had been following my work for quite some time and wanted to meet up. I was like: “Why not, would love to.” His next sentence was, how about china, not exactly china, more Sanya, a small part of the island Hainan next to china.
He has been booked for a wedding there and wanted me to 2nd-shoot with him.
I nearly freaked out after looking at all the pictures from this beautiful island.
I was in, so now I´m super excited to announce, I´m flying with Johannes Fenn and his wife to china to shoot a wedding with him. We´ll be staying at the gorgeous Mandarin Oriental hotel. First week, scouting out the island and then on friday the engagement-session with the chinese bridal couple. On saturday we´ll be shooting their wedding and on sunday, a whole day of portraits all over the island.
I feel honored to be a part of this trip and this wedding!
Suitcase 3:
2 Days after I get back from China, I´m leaving straight away for Namibia again to shoot a civil wedding there. I´ll be travelling 4 days with the bridal couple, at the side of the desert to reach the civil registry office. The next day we´ll be doing again a whole day of portraits here…
The next day I´m going to head down to capetown to visit Christine & Iaan. She´s an amazing artist and I´m so looking forward to finally meeting her.
That´s it………..

One of the things I´m gonna miss the most, is my girl…
A lot of you guys know, that I started of with shooting concerts and I´ve always loved it since then.
End of 2011 I managed to get in contact with 2 big labels from the states… so let´s see what they´ll give me to shoot…. I must say I´m kinda nervous, what the 1st job´s gonna be like that they´ll give me.
None the less, Skillet is one of my 5 favourite bands, which I´ve been looking for to shoot since 3 years. I nearly had the chance to shoot them in 2009 in LA, but the photographer-pass-lists got mixed up and got sent to the wrong concerts. So I was really excited to finally shoot them in december in Germany, where I was shooting Skillet for http://mara-events.de/. Opening act was Sacrety.
I also wanted to try shooting a concert with Canon and I must say, even though I had the Mark II, it kinda sucked shooting a fast band like Skillet. The autofocus was to slow and the ISO handling sucked. I´ll just always stay a Nikon member.
Since 3 weeks we´ve been living in 2012 but I haven´t yet arrived …
I just can´t let go to this amazing year, but I´m looking forward to the adventures of 2012!
I just wanna say THANKYOU to all you folks out there, my family, my girl, my friends and all you peeps out there talking about my passion and sharing the LOVE.
Just wanted to give you a little insight of my personal highlights of 2011 and the highlights I look forward to in 2012.
Highlights 2011:
-Wedding in the US
- my first music video
-Preston my intern from the states
-41 weddings in total
- featured in ceveral big wedding blogs
- Shooting 3/10 of my favorite bands (Skillet, Chris Tomlin & Toby Mac)
Highlights of 2012:
- 4 destination wedding (Switzerland, Portugal, Namibia & China)
- Shooting MUYM´s 1st music video next week
At the end of every year I have this contest nobody knows the answer to….
WHO partied the hardest in 2011?
The winner are Lucia&Boris. They win a free afterweddingshoot in Italy.
I thought I just might end 2011 with my last wedding from 2011. Lucia&Boris wedding was purely amazing. They shared a love that I hadn´t seen up untill now at a wedding… and they knew how to party!!!
They were the perfect couple to finish 2011.
Thank you Daniela Prusina for recommending me and just enjoy being the bridesmade.

Finally managing to blog again after having moved end of december.
I met Beyza 2 weeks before her wedding…. she was totally stressed, cause she had to finish designing her dress.
At the end I think she did a marvelous job creating her own wedding dress…

Da hat man schon mal 2 Hochzeiten im Dezember und da schneit es bei keiner von beiden!!!
Nunja ich hoffe ihr genießt auch ohne Schnee Beyza&Marc´s Hochzeit in Bad Homburger Schloss.
Beyza hatte ich 2 Wochen vor ihrer Hochzeit kennengelernt, total gestresst… da sie noch ihr eigenes Kleid fertig designen musste. Ich fand sie hat am Ende einen wundervolles Kleid kreiiert…
Die Hochzeitsszene ist wie eine kleine Familie, man kennt sich, kritisiert, teilt und inspiriert sich unter Kollegen.
Diese Hochzeit von Stefanie&Ronny bekam ich über Johannes Fenn vermittelt. Als ich dann Stefanie&Ronny zu ihrer süßen 6h Hochzeit in Arnstein bei Würzburg begleiten durfte, war ich verblüfft endlich mal 2h für die Portraits Zeit zu haben, da ich sonst nur 45-60 min Portraitsessions gewöhnt war. Ich hab es wirklich genossen soviel Zeit zu haben….

The wedding-scene is like a little family, everybody knows each other through the web, criticizes, share´s and inspires one another. This sweet little 6h wedding I received from Johannes Fenn. After 45 min I was shocked to still have 75 min left of portrait-time. Being used to only have like 45-60 min for the portrait session. I really enjoyed having more time…..
Sie waren mein erstes Paar, also hab ich mir gedacht es wäre der perfekte Moment meine damals “peinlichen” Paarfotos im Vergleich zu ihrem schönen sommerlichen Verlobungsshooting zu zeigen.

Endlich war es soweit, Anna&Roman´s Hochzeit s stand vor der Tür. Dies war mein allererstes Paar, welches ich fotografiert habe vor 3 Jahren. Seitdem haben sie mich jedes Jahr einmal für ihr ein Paarshoot gebucht, vor 3 Monaten war es soweit, Anna rief mich an und meinte “Wir brauchen diesmal Verlobungsfotos!!”. Bei herrlichem Novemberlicht durfte ich ihren Tag endlich begleiten…
